Have you heard of the Joshie-Man?
This sweet 12-year-old boy recently became an online sensation after a wave of anti-Muslim hate in the UK. Together with his father, Dan Harris, Joshie began a world journey through Muslim countries — sharing a simple but powerful message: friendship, kindness and understanding can overcome division.
Their story began in Peterborough, UK, where the family lives. After an anti-Islam attack targeted a local mosque, Dan wanted to show that the actions of a few extremists did not represent the wider British community.
His response was simple: bring kindness instead of anger.
Joshie, who is “a talented baker”, visited the mosque carrying homemade cakes to share with the local community. That small gesture of friendship quickly touched thousands of people online and became the beginning of a much bigger journey.
